The best restaurants in Brussels to have dinner with your roommate
If you have a new roommate, chances are you don’t know him or her that well yet. In case you couldn’t care less about getting to know your roommate: think again.
If you don’t take the time to get to know his nice qualities, after a while you will only associate him with dirty underwear, empty beer bottles and noisy nightly escapades.
Is there a better way to get to know someone than over dinner? You could cook together, but going out to have dinner in a lovely restaurant is probably a better idea: no cooking stress and no potential arguments about who has to go to the supermarket or do the dishes.
We made a list of the best restaurants in Brussels to have dinner with your new (or old) roommate. Nothing too fancy. Just some cosy and specialized restaurants with reasonable prices. Enjoy your meal!

The best Japanese food in town! Umamido is famous for its so-called ‘ramen’ which are tasty noodle soups. The preparation of the broth, which is the basis for the noodle soup, takes between 24 and 48 hours!
This slow cooking process gives the soup an intense Umami taste (Umami, Umamido, get it?), which is one of the five basic tastes.
You pay approximately €25 for dinner (lunch is cheaper), which isn’t that expensive considering the fact that Umamido only uses high quality ingredients.
Umamido has two restaurants in Brussels and two in Antwerp.
